2006 monte carlo 3.9l upgrades??
Hi guys, I have a 2006 monte carlo lt 3.9l v6. Im trying to upgrade my car with new performance chips, cold air intakes, strut bars, drilled and slotted rotors etc. Im just looking for some good websites where i can find these. Also i would appreciate some good tips and what you think would be smart for me to upgrade. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks

cool, when you have enough privileges here post some pics......
as for mods, there aren't that many for the 3.9, but you can start with a cai from cold air inductions. They're a great sponsor here on the MCF. I have one and I like it along with a nice set of magnaflow mufflers and tips. Chips do absolutely nothing for most cars, so don't get to caught in what they have to offer! They pretty much just trick your car/computer into thinking there is more there and there isn't. You can get a tune from overkill motorsports which is what most people do. Some visual mods include depo headlights that can be found on e-bay, they look pretty cool but some members have issues with them leaking. I hope that answers some questions you have, and again welcome to the MCF.....Also where you located, do you have any plans on going to any car shows with your Monte? There is a yearly Monte Carlo Nationals sponsered by the NMCOA and it's also another pretty cool site......
