Default 2005 MC SS ignition issues

I can't get the key to turn in my ignition. i have tried everything i can think of. i have been looking for an exploded view of the cylinder so that i can unlock it to replace the cylinder instead of having to-get a new housing, cylinder, keys, and programming.. does anyone have any thoughts they can help me out with or an exploded view of the ignition so i can unlock the cylinder

Off hand, no thoughts. But if you have to change the lock cylinder, programming is nothing more than some time and following the PCM re-learn procedure. Pretty easy and no special tools required to program.

I fought with it for a bit. It wasn't easy to knock that cylinder out without using the key. But I'm getting it out I figured it why the key stopped working. Every single spring that was suppose to be holding the tumblers was busted or bent so badly that the key wouldn't turn. But I got the new cylinder in and programmed.
