yeah, there is a plu in in the back and that is it. some times when you turn the key on or the car is running and the speedo moves you can hear a faint grinding sound. thats the motors working. there is a company that rebuilds the clusters. they are so complicated, ive got a cluster out of a 50th anniversary vette. the reason it was replace was because the dome light didnt work, the cluster caused that. how stupid. right.

no kidding for a dome light being controlled by the clust LOL
well i now know what to look for when mine dont work . but any more they have so amny systems to work others it is just nuts that is why i got out of wrenching i was spending more itme in school just trying to keep up with what was new or comming out that i was never working on the cars.

Case in point for the several systems workign for one goal
the DLR's seems to have more then one working to make them work
my bigest question is now is their a extra wire going to the high beams at a lower power level to allow them to have power?

If there is i might have a idea on how to not disabel them but a way to use it more to my liking instead of the hig beams burrning day and night/.
