2003 monte carlo ls AC issues
When you recharge your AC you are to have the car running, AC on, set to coldest setting and fan on high. You do the same for checking the pressure. The max pressure is dependent on the current outside temperature, so you have to refer to a chart that should be provided with the recharge kit.

Before you start, always verify the compressor is working by looking to see if the compressor pulley is rotating.
Also it is a good idea to add AC Oil if you have never had your system serviced to insure the system is lubed

Its been awhile but did you ever figure out the fans not kicking on with ac? I'm having all the same issues and cannot figure out the problem. Thanks
