Default 2003 Monte Carlo faint beeping HELP

I have an 03 monte carlo 3.8 V6 when the car is off or the ignition switch is on doesnt matter i can hear a beeping coming from the speakers. ive tried setting the security back to its original settings and nothing seems to make it go away. after awhile the battery will die and i have to jump start it. i let the car charge the battery then unplugged the battery. thats the only thing that makes it stop. any ideas guys?

Have you had the Battery checked and is it the right size. Also, are you sure the ignition switch is completely off. On some of these cars, After a while, you can remove the key in any position. If the switch isn't completely off you will get a beep or chime. If left unchecked you battery will go dead.

yes the battery keeps dying as it will keep beeping from the speakers. i hadnt noticed if the key can be taken out at all positions on the switch. could it be a faulty battery warning? im stumped

If there is beeping from the speakers, something is not turning off. I'm wondering if the amp is not turning off.... Maybe pull the fuse related to the radio/amp and see what happens???

If you still have the factory stereo, it could be part of the security or a battery low warning. I have not come across this with my car But have with others and it had something to do with battery charge. Maybe one of the other members who have had this with there cars will chime in to help.
