2001 SS Passenger Window Wont Work
Hi all,
I am new to this forum but have been on it in the past to look at stuff. Well I have a problem and it all started like this. I was replacing my mirror on my drivers door and got everything hooked back up and the door panel on, no problem. I then proceeded to taking my passenger door panel off and broke the power window switch in the process. I then proceeded to trying to put the window up from the drivers switch and it doesn't work and it is stuck in the DOWN position meaning I need to fix this ASAP because my car sits outside at work. The drivers side window does go up and down fine. With the switch off on the passenger side I used a test light on the copper ends and all the wires work except the brown and dark blue ones, I am assuming these are the up/down wires for the switch. Do I need both switches for the window to work as a unit? I am really stuck here and need some help. Thanks all!
