2001 door panel removal
Hi all,
Going to remove the door panel on my 2001 monte. Haynes manual says a putty knife can be used but I would rather get a trim panel tool to reduce the chance of breaking any clips and it would probably work better anyway. Can anyone recommend a trim remover tool and be specific about the size?
I have seen multi tool sets but want to make sure I get one that has the most appropriate size.
Thanks for any info you can provide!

I've taken some door panels out in the junk yard. They come out real EASY. Just need a phillips screw driver if I recall (take a couple of screws out and then gently tug to get the panel off).

A putty knife or small pry bar would work if you can't seem to pull it off. If you want some trim tools this is a nice set.

Once you take off the four securing fasteners (1 top by the mirror, 1 behind the door handle and the two that secures the arm rest) if you start at the top by the mirror and work your hand down between the door and the panel (clock wise the clips will pop off. Once you get around that, just lift the panel up and out to remove the door lock/window/mirror wiring harness'.
If your really concerned about scratching anything, use a wood paint stir stick, that works really well.
