Hey guys, I'm new to the Monte Forums and Monte Carlo community in general, so please be kind lol. So, I was driving along, listening to the radio, I turned down the volume to plug in my Aux chord to my phone, and when i turned the volume back up, i was only getting sound from my rear speakers. I checked my fade and balance, played with the fade, still no sound when i play with it. Not sure what happened. I have factory radio and speakers. I've never touched any of the wiring. Any Ideas what could of happened?

 

that's a strange one, the aux shouldn't have anything to do with front or rear.
But the factory radio itself, does treat the front separate from the rear.
Door/Key chimes are front speakers only, and I think OnStar as well.
But the turn signal sound is front driver side only.
A fault in any of those systems could affect the radio from coming thru the front speakers.
(I replaced my whole sound system, so sorry, I can't help with diagnostics.)
