Default 02 SS gremlins

Ok so about a month ago i didnt start my car for a full day and the next day its dead. So i brought my battery up to wal-mart and replced it (they said it was dead) Hooked it back up and it started right up. First of all it was a 3 month old battery and i couldnt figuer out what would be draining the battery. The next day while stopped at a stop light my car just dies but started back up. So I unhooked my amp and my subs after my car just died thinking it was draining to much power and drove fine again for a couple more days but then tonight i was taking off foot on the gas and my whole cluster just started going whack all the gauges going up and down also my radio turned off then i let off the gas thinking it was going to die and everything went back to normal. Then the drive home nothing happened. Im stumped and im about to bring it in to get the computer checked. Anyone know what could be causing this problem? Any help would be nice. Also im new to this forum so hello and thank you

Have the alternator checked.. it might not providing enough output to regenerate the battery and run accessories.. plus the computer needs near full output to operate.. its pretty finicky if voltage isn't above a certain amount
