im really hoping you can help me out tonight. well ive spent the last hour searching you're sight for a similiar problem as to what im experiencing and ive come up empty handed. well heres whats going on....
when i give my car at heavy throtle (or even enough like 3/4) to get it past 4k rpm, right when i hit the 4k marker the car begins to violently stutter, i guess would be the best way to put it. Doesent matter what gear im in or tranny temp or anything, and sometimes it does it (most of the time) but sometimes it wont. Its really odd, like it gets to that rpm and starts to bog and the tach goes nutty, and you can feal the car want to go but it doesent. any ideas? it doesent do it when i keep it under 4k, only at high throttle points? weird.

 

Sounds like it could actually be that your CAT is clogged and not some much a trans issue.
