If I wasn't working I would totally go, but my upgrades aren't going to pay for themselves.

 

well guys turbo monte wont be going to the elderton meet saturday..... i took her out for a drive and made a pull, hit full boost, pulling hard, left out of the throttle and dumped blue smoke all out the exhaust........ yep blew a turbo seal...... time for an upgrade!!!!

That sucks dude! I just blew my coolant elbows last week, so I know how it feels when you break down and cant drive. Also, I was just about to post and say that I wont be able to make it, and now I feel better that I'm not the only one. Got a couple of huge research papers to finish for my God-awful summer college classes, so I gotta park the monte for this weekend. She's not quite ready yet anyways. Catch you all again sometime soon!

It does suck! I ordered a new bigger turbo and I am upgrading my down pipe as well now. Parts were ordered yesterday. I also feel better knowing I'm not the only one not gonna be at the show I posted about lol. I am further diagnosing the car tomorrow to be sure its not piston rings or valve seals which I got my fingers crossed it isn't.
