Hello, my name's Shawn and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I've been a shadetree mechanic gearhead for a few years and have owned my 2003 Monte Carlo SS for the past three.

I bought my SS with 19,000 miles on it and it's now sporting 52,000. It's ran like a champ and I've been pleased with it. Here's a few pictures:

I've always been a fan of the Monte's looks and reliability, but it's definitely needed more power. That's being addressed this weekend by the SS M90 kit I'll be installing that's sitting in my garage right now.

In addition to my Monte Carlo, I also own a 2000 Buick Regal GSE. For those unfamiliar with the Regal, this comes with a factory L67. I threw a few bolt-ons at mine (3.4" pulley, Wizaired, 3" downpipe, 180* t-stat, ZZP tune) and it's run a best time of 13.81 @ 100 MPH at the track. I'll attach a few pictures.

I also own a 1993 Mustang LX 4-cylinder that's going to receive an "engine improvement" next year. Finally, here's a picture or two of my gone but never forgotten 1995 Mustang GT. It ran a bunch of 12.7s @ 109 in the 1/4 mile. I sold it last August.

This looks like a cool forum and I hope to learn and share with everyone here.

I attached pics of the SS M90 kit ready to be installed...I can't wait to get it finished up. If anyone has any advice regarding the SS M90 kit installation, I'd love to hear it.

I'm also throwing a ZZP 3" downpipe on the car. It should be a whole new beast in a few days.

As for the M90 Kit it is a huge waist of time. So with that being said i will buy it off of you for 100 bucks so you can get some money back. (Crosses fingers hopping you will take the deal)

Just kidding. good luck with the M90 kit a friend put it on his GP GT and he loves it.

Very nice collection of cars you have had.

Hey shawn. I'm robyn and I'm from pittsburgh as well. I drive a 2000 Monte Carlo LS that's Torch Red / Diablo Red / Inferno Red it's the real pretty reddish / orange color. It's kinda smacked on the driver's side quarter... got a little sideswiped by the Previous Owner who let's say didn't treat this car very well. She has 186 K on her but she runs like a beast.

I used to drive a 98 Monte Carlo LS that was white and hot pink, involved in a horrible rear end on duquesne blvd near kennywood... I could have been killed, thank god that car saved my life. Welcome to the forum man, your monte is beautiful. I think I may have seen yours scootin around town? I have seen SEVERAL beautiful white ones just like yours...

I bought my monte carlo from Pittsburgh. I bought it off a guy known by Larry Kowalski. He owns a mechanic shop and salvage center down there.
