Despite the low turn out, it was a fun meet. I really enjoyed meeting up with everyone!!! And since I have been deprived of driving my Monte almost all summer, it was great to put a few miles on her for a fun ride!!

 

Had a good time at the meet today guys. Good to meet all of you there, and look forward to the next one!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
We are considering holding another "mini meet" in the next month or so. That comes as Matt (Slugger088) was unable to make our Meet last minute yesterday but informed me that he would be willing to make the drive out if we planned another one soon. Honestly I'm thinking a SE Michigan location if we do go with another one. So, to all, keep that in mind and we shall discuss; information to come later.

Also, for the next Meet (spring 2014) I'm thinking of having an award or two made up, maybe a 'top choice' or 'top two choice' as voted on by attendees. Maybe also start doing dash plaques. I have a while to consider and look into/plan those two things but those were a few things I had in mind.

 

Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I couldn't make it out on the 21st. I left my house and hit huge rain storms about an hour away from here. The forecast called for more of the same all the way to Windsor/Detroit border. There was accidents everywhere and I had my wipers on the highest setting for a good 30 minutes. I actually should have left earlier in the evening than I did but I was trying to avoid Friday rush hour traffic.

I did toss out the idea of a smaller meet because I really felt bad about missing this one.

Matt tossed out the idea of coming this Saturday the 28th to Car show out near Ann Arbor so I should be making it out there this weekend.
