everyone,

I will have miss this weekend. one of my close co-workers wife died and I need to attend the funeral to support him. I watch all of the thing hw went though over the last 3 years and I just need to support him.

I still think a meet would be cool to talk about the club soon as we can maybe meet for some lunch somewhere.

 

Tadd, if you have to back out that's fine, get better! Tim, I completely understand so no worries. We'll see you guys next year and, like I mentioned before, I am planning on holding this Meet at the same park again next year along with the spring and fall Meets. So, plan on a few more Meets next year.

Tim, yeah I think some of us should get together for lunch on a weekend sometime soon to discuss the club formation some more. I'm thinking somewhere in Jackson since that seems to be central to yourself, Tadd, Wayne, Dave, and myself. Anyway, lets talk about this later.

 

MEET RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27TH

The weather is looking iffy for this Saturday as well so I'm rescheduling. Sunday looks better, high in the low 50's and partly/mostly cloudy, so please advise that the Meet is being rescheduled for this Sunday, October 27th; same time (10am-3pm), same place (Gallup Park). Hope to still see most of you!

Few things to note:

(1) Still planning on meeting for coffee (Tim Horton's - 3975 State St., Ann Arbor MI, 48103) at 9am Sunday prior to the Meet.

(2) Please bring food, grill items (e.g. charcoal, lighter fluid, flipper, etc.), and plates and utensils. I'm bringing hotdogs, brats, Coke, aluminum foil, and a lighter. If someone could bring hotdog buns that would be great, and for those who want other items please bring them.

(3) I was thinking, parking structures in downtown Ann Arbor are open and free on Sundays so after the Meet, for those that want to stick around for a bit longer, maybe we could head into town and get some cool group shots of the cars in one or two of the structures. Downtown is about a 7 minute drive from the park.

I can also bring HotDog buns.... I guess since I still smoke.... a lighters a non issue.. Count me in for the cruise into town/photo op.

 

I got an itch to drive the Deuce one last time. Count me in (Ronda wants me to air out after being cooped up in the house for almost a week)

I don't but I'll bring some. I think I left it with Wayne in the spring


Sounds like the majority of us from the Nationals will be there on Sunday.

 

Forecast for tomorrow is showing mostly sunny, a high in the low 50's and 0% change of rain.

Also, there's now a base layer of gravel at the park entrance so it doesn't look as bad as it did a week ago.
