I always tell people to show it anyway, even if you just wanted to hang out. It costs money to park and enter, might as well have the best parking lot on the field

This year was another great year. I met a couple new faces and that is always awesome! My only regret, it takes so long to work through the voting ballot for me, I did not get to sit and chill with my car and the other W-body guys as much as I wanted to.
For all those I missed, I apologize. Can't wait for 2017!

I agree, it's about the fun and meeting people with common interests and various talents.
I don't have the want or the patience to focus 100% of my energy on winning. For me, it's a matter of make sure my car (which is not a trailer/garage queen) is cleaned as best as it can be, get it on the show field Saturday, do any final prep for 10-30 minutes and then go enjoy the rest of the show (no sense fretting over any other details, otherwise you could drive yourself crazy, leave it in the hands of the voters).
