Matt, let me know when you plan on heading down. I'm planning on heading down that Friday morning (June 28th). I'm assuming you'd head west into Michigan and then south from there so maybe you could meet up and cruise down there with me.

Hey Matt,

Yea I would just go down through Detroit right where you guys are. That's really the only logical way to go for me.

I may get that Friday off and if that's the case I can leave Thursday evening and meet you Friday. I'll keep you posted

Bonnie and I will be arriving sometime on Wednesday to help set up. Hope to meet up with you guys sometime during the show!

Just received a phone call from John informeing me that he received my entry...

But...He needed to clarify what my Vanity plate said.... He thought it was 05D.... Apparently there/NMCOA is useing the License plates for Varification etc... Or to make sure the window plates match the Vehicle... He know knows its OSD... (One Speed Dave) Thats what it actually stands for!
I also look forward to meeting everyone that attends this Natioal Event!
As well as the Event Staff!....
What awards ...If any.... Does the class 13 receive?... Or is it strictly Park and Party... Like it reads? Like more of a just show up class to be apart of something thats greater than yourself?

As a first time event attendee Im not quite sure what to expect....But am looking forward to being there...

Hi Stumpmi,

We use the license plates numbers for identification only. This is the first year that we have required pre-registration. This is letting John get the window cards printed prior to the meet. It's also going to let me lay out the show field before I get to the hotel. You have no idea how much grief this will save me.

The Park and Party awards are the same as the ones in the classes. Winners will receive a plaque. The difference is how the winners are chosen. Judges will evaluate the cars in the regular classes while Class 13 winners are voted on by the show participants.

I sent you an email response to your PM. Don't hesitate to ask any other questions if you need.

Hi Iceman, can I just go and park without entering the car in any of the classes? I would obviously need to be a member still of the NMCOA but where do people who just want to attend get to park?

Maybe Ill just enter into class 13.

Slugger you can park anywhere off the show field at the hotel if you are not registered for the show. However only those registered for the show may park on the show field.

You all don't forget your fire extinguishers they will not let you on the show field without them registered or not ( they do sell them there too) I got mine @ Ace for about 15 bucks or so last year

Slugger ... Tadd pretty much answered the question best. Although, I would say that there are quite a few people who just enter their cars in Class 13 (park and party) just to "park and party!" It is more of a social thing for them and they have their car parked close by. No detailing required!
