After much Consideration...and Thought, of my experience at Monte Nationals. Looks like its time to sell the Monte... Its definitely not what I thought it could be at the Nationals.... I guess I was totally BS'n myself into believeing it was nicer than what I truly thought it is... I really thought I had something "Unique". What if anything do you think I could realistically sell it for?

New wheels,(Instahled a few hrs before the Nationals) Trans rebuilt last fall, new upper ,lower intake gaskets, flushed with new radiator, New struts, and Cartridges up front. The Graphite Leather interior is Immaculate! 4000 watt stereo, Pure MTX with 2 ... 12" subs by MTX and 6 speakers amps and speakers powered by 2 separate amps.. Tires with minimal ware, Brakes done last spring.. New catback exhaust with Xcelerator chambered mufflers instahled at the end of May. Has 165,000 original miles on it..The oil has been changed every 3000 miles since it was brand new from the factory! With a few minor door dings... Custom hand painted graphix. The car is loaded with all the accessories available in 1999 in icludeing a power moon roof! one touch power windows,tilt, cruise ac.. Tinted windows (all). Theres probably other stuff im probably forgetting about... It has been garage kept for the last 13 1/2 years of its life!

What are you trying to say Dave, just cause your Monte isn't show worthy it's time to sell it........ Come on dude.......I've been to 2 Monte Nats just for fun, it's all in what you want it to be. Was it your intention to have a show car when you bought it?

I showed it for the first 3 years of its life! I have multiple first places
awards, dash plaques Trophys etc.... Even received an award at the Detroit Autorama! (Detroits Hot Rod Show)

Not the Detroit auto show..(New models and prototype show)

I think we all got on the road just in time. One of the Club members posted pictures of the street completely flooded out in front of the hotel.

Those of you that cruised back to Michigan together (Ashley, David, Tadd, and Wayne), how was the drive back for you guys?

 

We hit some serious weather ... I got separated from ev1... And ended up wiggleing my way over to I-75 doing weather avoidance.
EV 1 else,Wayne Ashley tad stopped during the pouring rain for a bite to eat...but all arrived home safely!

 

I hit some (what I would call) medium to light scattered rainfall on I-75 between Sidney and Findlay, Ohio. Nothing too serious or widespread. The car dried off by the time I made it home.
