Drove the Monte to Colorado for their 2014 Super Chevy event. It was actually very well attended and had a wide range of vehicles. Car show part had some very nice cars and the drag strip had quite a few cars really getting on it. There were two 2000's something GTP's racing, both were 15 second cars.

There were 6 Monte Carlo's here. One was a totally original pristine condition and purportedly somewhat rare 87 SS Aerocoupe T-top. It was a Cali car the owners 4th Monte Carlo. None of the owners were members of the forum. I told them all about the forum, some had heard of it but were members of Monte Carlo SS, which I guess is more for the older Monte's. Told the 7th gen owner to consider joining us.

Any who, I ended up getting called up on stage twice. Once for "Best of Class" and the other for "Best Monte Carlo" Still don't understand it, we were not broken down into year groups and such, we were all just lumped together. So a couple of Plaques and a jacket. Also going out today Sunday with Issac from Super Chevy magazine media staff to take a few pictures of the car at some spot and make a short video to be submitted to his editor for a possible consideration for a features spot in their magazine. So thats cool, a step closer to another potential magazine appearance. Issac said he searches the shows for unique cars for publication consideration.


















Also brought my grandaughter Hannah with me, her and I have become car show buddies.
