wiring

so im confused im rewiring my back speakers again (cuz i did a lazy job before and they came undone) and now im doin it professionally and i dont remember which wire is the negative. ive switched the the speaker wires around and either way it works. is the negative wire tan?

Instead of answering one wire at a time, hear is a description for all the wires.

thanks but that doesnt quite help... that would be for installing radios im lookin for the wires that hook up to the amp in the back. on one side its tan and white and the other its tan and red

Ok, the tans are the negatives, the red is for the passenger side and the white is for the drivers side.
