Default Monte Carlo 86
Hey I got a 86 Monte Carlo so when I start it up it ride good but soon as I stop or hit the brakes it don’t give gas it take off real slow after I stop

Just off the top you might have a Transmission issue Check the fluid level The car should be in Park and running when you do this. I should be a Red color brown is no good, change it if it is.
Second the Catalitic Converter could be plugged up.
