There's been a few similar ideas before that seemed to get lost in thread land, though nothing weekly that I can think of so this is a great idea. I'm not so thrilled about being limited to pictures taken within the past 3 months. I know the concept behind that but, considering we have a somewhat small active member base, why not have it open to any pictures that represent your car in its current state? So if you haven't done anything to your car in the past year, any pictures taken within that 1-year time frame should be game. Seems that would be less restrictive and you would get more participation - just a suggestion.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. If the community doesn't like that rule then there's no probalem changing it. Only reason it's there is to push members to take new photos of there car.

 

I think its a good rule. I was just diggin' thru photos and was gonna use one from a 4/10 photoshoot - no, out of date! So I'll have to go take some more. Which is a good thing. Those pics wouldn't have worked with the "Hot August Night" theme anyways.

This is a fun idea. I just hope we get member participation, not just interest. There have been photo challenges on here before to little response.
