Thanks for that visual. I have a small eyeglasses screwdriver that should fit easily without marking it up.

sounds good, i didnt mark mine up, its just that its all beat up already lol
it comes off real easily, barely have to use any prying force :p

I wondered about this because my shifter is missing part of the button. It was like that when I bought the car. Is the part you pulled out 2 pieces. If so anyone have an extra outer piece.
