Default Yet another interior addition!

Apparently I just can't stop! I just received a nice black leather shift **** in the mail! This one came off a '00+ Bonneville. A leather shift **** is something I feel GM should have placed in the Montes a LONG time ago.

And of course when it arrived, I ripped open the box like it was Christmas and went out to install it!

FYI - During the install process, the hardest part was getting the boot back up (I used two small screw drivers to help gently expand and lift the elastic ring back up). During this process, nothing was damaged (study, work slow and carefully). But, I want to add, the shift boot is NOT leather (yet my original steering wheel and current one are both leather).

That button just blends so well with your steering wheel! Looks great!

I gotta figure out a way to take that button off and put the Monte black button on mine.

Thanks guys.

Right now, I can't help but be curious if Chibi is successful in swapping the button on the one he got. Does anyone here have experience with that? I am thinking the button is glued/epoxied in....

It's super easy mike! Just take a flathead and pry it off from the bottom of the button, easier than it sounds
Then u just push the replacement button back in and it'll snap in place
