Default XM radio fade out

Hello all.....I have a 2005 Monte Carlo SS Tony Stewart...This is my 2nd '05 and I love it...I have the stock am/fm/xm/cd radio in the dash...This is my 3rd Monte, my 1st was a 2002,my 2nd was a '05 LT...It seams to me that ever since xm and Sirius joined up,the quality has gone down...I have had this car for a month and have not been able to listen to a complete song on xm/sirius without it cutting out...All of a sudden in the middle of a song,i get the message...Loading or No Signel...After a few seconds, the song comes back on...No matter where i drive in town,it happens...Back in '05 when i had a M/C LT with the same radio and XM,I never had that problem...What gives with this??...I know that prices have gone up but for gods sake, dont cut down on the quality!!...Anyone else have this problem? BTW,I live in NJ....One other thing,I want to replace my speakers and will go with the Infinity Kappa's being that they are 2 ohm,the same as the stock speakers...Can anyone tell me the correct wire color code of the stock wires at the speakers end?? I just want to make sure i hook up them correct.....Thank You all in advance.....Mike

I know, its terrible...I bought this M/C about a month ago. Being that it was a GM Certified car,I got 3 months of xm with it as well as onstar and a 12 month bumper to bumper warrenty. Like i have said,i have not been able to listen to a complete song on xm without it cuttion out at some time. Regular FM sounds better! I had the car to a gm dealer and they said that the radio,xm box and antenna were ok...Someone did tell me that in order to cut costs,xm turned off some of their ground repeater antennas. That might be the problem. If this keeks up,I just will not renew my xm in Sept.
