So I have a 1997 monte carlo ls, and I'm trying to run an amp power wire through the firewall, but for the life of me cannot find the grommet to put it through! I've already read/scoured threads on here, but none of them really helped. Any help please!!!????

 

There's a grommet on the drivers side. It's down below the brake fluid reservoir, and comes into the dash above the brake pedal to the left if I remember correctly. I could snap a pic of it quick if you need more help locating it.

You could just measure and drill a hole!

I did this on my gf's impala and it works perfect

 

I think I got it aha. So I'm relatively new to this type of thing so take it easy if I'm wrong lol. So for now I just put a wire through where I believe it to go for, and it went all the way through and out the other end.

 

You've got it! That's the same one I used. Keep that wire there and use it to help pull your power wire through.
