viper 5901 into 04 monte ss

Default viper 5901 into 04 monte ss

Hey guys i got a 04 monte ss that i want to install the viper 5901 alarm,keyless, remote start. anyone have this model in there monte or anyone have a instruction on where to cut, splice, etc? any info would be appreciated thanks for looking.

Get it right the first time.

The Anti-theft system will disable the ignition if the Control Module gets a signal that the wiring is being tampered with.
The car will have to be towed to a Dealership to get "Unphaquedwidth"!!!

@rileychris as long as you get a "Bypass" module you will be ok. I have a 02 MC that I had a aftermarket alarm with remote start installed on. Also you will have to use the factory radio to turn off the factory alarm. If you plan on installing the alarm yourself just goto www.the12volt.com they will have all the info that you will need.

The best thing i use next to the stock alarm is put in a kill switch, if some one is really hard up in stealing my car good luck finding that baby as there are many good places to hide one. And i"am not talking the glove box or under the dash. It"s a nice little cheap good $50 switch that will drive them crazy.

Definitely save yourself the headache and get it professionally installed

Kill switches are a good backup but wont stop a thief from getting all the valuables like headunit or speakers.
