No I never thought of that. It does sound like a good idea. Ill have to check that bench out and see what I can do with it.

Well the replacement LED bulb idea is out of the question. It turns out the 5th gens dont have lights under the dash. I guess Ill have to wire up my own.

Those lights are great and the switches look clean where you put them. Where and how did you know where to wire them in at? Are they on a seperate power supply?

I just did them all one saturday i started with the switches and than ran the wire to the battery. Then i just thought about where i wanted them and wired every thing up.

I got the power line into the cabin by runing it next to my amp line that i already had going through on the passenger side through the fenderwell.

one hint is to by solder with the flux already in it it makes things go alot faster. also get some heat shrink and do it the right way so you dont have to go back and fix some other time. i have had mine in all winter and have not had a single problem with them. Knock on wood
