Default "Tailgate" light strip on a Monte

The other day up in Minneapolis i saw a monte with a light strip between the trunk and bumper, like a tailgate light strip. It looked pretty sweet. I was wondering if a regular streetglow tailgate strip would fit, or if you have to fabricate something else to make it work. Let me know if anyone here has something like that!

sounds like it would be too much? idk i was thinking projecting leds onto the ground for brake and blinkers would be cool and maybe not considered as underglow?

Well in some states I know the tailgate strip is not legal. It is a good question if projecting them to the ground would be legal...it would be unique for sure though. In Minnesota, supposedly there is a law that prohibits a "taillight" 3rd brake light. But my brother has had one on his truck for about 2 years now. He has never gotten any flack for that or for anything else "illegal" on his truck I.E. true-dual exhaust, "retro-fit" headlights, smoked taillights, and no drop bumper.
