I didn't know there was any switched fuses. On the Ford installs I have done I could usually get switched power off certain fuses. On the Monte I tried the power windows and heated seat fuses but none of them seemed to give switched power.

Let me know which fuse(s) are switched and I'll give that a shot or tap into the wire behind the stock deck as a last resort.

Thanks,
Travis

i agree with aussiek2000. i would simply get a fuse tap and a test light/volt meter and start checking all the fuses in the interior fuse panel on the lower passenger door area. once you find the one that's switched B+ make your connection with the fuse tap and your done.

i used this method with my foglights. i just used a fuse tap into the low beam headlights so they only come on when the low beams come on. took me less than 10 mins to figure it out...

I know for a fact the wiper circuit on my 04 LS is switched. Comes on in the accessory position. 25 amp fuse in the driver side fuse box inside the car.

i just know for a fact i tapped into the switched on my factory deck and the interface works perfect so it was a better option then running a wire for it.

Sorry bro, forgot about this thread.......

All you gotta do is run a wire from the "PCM" fuse in the fuse box on the driver side. No need to pull apart the dash and pull the deck out in order to run a remote lead. I ran my system in the same manner for 4 years with no problems whatsoever.
