type-rs will be better, louder, more clear, accurate, what amp is it, if mrp-m1000 i would hop on it, although, my 1 10" type-r is louder than my friend 2 12"s on that amp. but that would be the better offer

in my opinion it is ok not to go with a "name brand" for subs (i have a company called spl and they pound) but for an amp, DO NOT CHEAP OUT. go for memphis audio they are by far the best amps i've ever seen. but for your question u had, go with the type rs

boss amps = garbage + the 3000 watt rating is a max # and I assure you you'll never get close to getting that kind of output from it. I'd be surprised if you even got half of that.

Not only that, but without specs on any of this equipment we can't really help you cause there's too much we don't know. For example, that 2000 watt amp can also be a max rating, with rms being claimed at 1000 watts, but if it does that power @ 2ohms then you'd need to make sure your subs could be wired for a 2 ohm load to the amp. So with that amp, if it does power at 2 ohms and your subs have dual 4 ohm coils, you can wire them down to either 4 ohms or 1 ohm, not 2. So unless that amp is 1 ohm stable, it wouldn't be a good match for your subs.
