Steering Wheel buttons look crappy

how can i change the color of the light under there? mine is fading to an it erks my chain.

some of my buttons look like poop too. since i have an aftermarket radio they're useless. is there something i can disconnect so they don't light up?

I have the same problem with the buttons on the steering wheel.
I would love to change the buttons if they are available somewhere.
Is there a special way to take them out?

Some blue LED lights would look sweet under them! lol
