hey i'm new to the forum but i have a white 01 monte carlo. i was thinking about putting in a new audio interface but i wanted to make sure that if i get one the volume and seek buttons on the steering wheel won't be disabled. thanks!

as for your question, you'll need an adapter to keep them working. something like this one at crutchfield.com. you can input your year/make/model/misc and you should be able to get the info you need. i'm pretty sure whatever you need, you can find it cheaper than at crutchfield, but their service is really good. i'm not sure if the harness is specific to the car, or to the unit, but i'm sure someone can chime in on more details. crutchfield would be a good place to start though. good luck!
