Default static in rear speakers

I just got a new amp installed and replaced all my stock speakers but kept my stock head unit and now I hear alot of static in my rear speakers. I can't seem to find the cause of the problem, I'm thinking it could be because I used the stock wiring but I don't know. If you might know my problem please let me know.
