Default HID problem again

So i recently just bought some 8000k HIDs for the high beam bulb of the monte. I installed everything with no problem and when i went to see if they worked i turned the low beams on and when i went to activate the high beams it blew a fuse. I put a new one in and the same thing happened again when i tried it again. then i turned the car on so the engine was running and it did not blow a fuse. turn the car off and try it blows a fuse. What the Hell?

Then when i turn the car on during the day so the DRLs would normally come on i get the high beam out message. But then i turn on the brights get out of the car and both high beams are on. What the hell again?

The only idea i have is that since theHIDs are supposed todrawless power the ECU or what ever controls the lights is thinking that there is not enough power being drawn to the headlight so it thinks that they are burnt out. Could this be why?

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance
Luke

I used the braket that came with the ballast and everything so the should be good. If thats what you ment by seated.

Conversion kit? I just bought two ballast and the bulbs.

I all ready have a set of 6000K installed for the low beam and they worked fine and all they were was the ballast and the bulbs. so i dont get why this are having so many problems and i have triple checked all the wiring and went over everything so many times and i still dont get what is wrong

Yep. 6000k

I went with this other dealer because they had different temps to choose from unlike ZZP that is only 6000K

With the Low beam kit, have any problems with your lights flashing on your car when you lock and unlock it?

Just to be safe? Had a problem with it before? Or are you just worried?
