Static Fuzz at low volumes
Hey guys, Got a couple questions for ya. Heres the thing, I have a 2004 Monte Carlo SS. I put in an after market system, all kicker, kicker wiring, kicker RCA's, kicker CVRs, kicker 7501 and kicker 3504, tsunami cap. I had a Pioneer 6900 head unit, and now I just installed a AVIC-F90bt, and with both head units I have a static fuz (very quiet) at low volumes and even when I turn it up, you cant hear it while music is playing, but I can still hear it in between songs. I used the GMOS-01 wiring kit for the door chimes and stuff, which now is pointless because they dont work witht the amp anyways. Has anyone ever experienced this fuzzy noise, and if so, what is the issue?
Yeah, its grounded properly. I used to work at circuit city, so I made sure it was hook up right. I have a 0 gauge power and ground going to the cap, and then 4 gauge power and ground from cap to the two amps, so the power is big enough and the ground is big enough and grounded to a good spot on the body of the car with the paint sanded off of that spot as well. I was thinking it could just be something with the GM-OS-01 (wiring kit) cuz it has done it with two different setups, cuz my **** got stolen once, so I put it all back in again with a different HU and different cap, but it still does it. I mean its not like its effecting my sound quality or anything, its just annoying to hear. Makes me think something is ****ed up. lol
