Speakers!?!?!?!?!
Most decks are 50 watts x 4 but that is 50 wattspeak and somewhere around 22 watts rms. I had a set of boston sl95 6x9'srunning off of the deck power on my pioneer 8600 and they sounded decent. But they really come to life when i put a 70 watt x 2 amp in. The amp is rated at 70 watts rms 140 peak per channel. It sounded like i put a sub in compared to before the amp. The deck is probably fine to run factory speakers but to get the most out of a set of good aftermarket speakers you should really use an amp. The difference is like night and day.
