Do like I and have your steering wheel to an automotive interior shop and have what you want done that way. They're taking the old leather off and used new material and resewed to mimic factory stitches. More expensive in the end and is taking longer than expected but should hold nice and tight and factory looking.
yea the sewing is a reason keeping me from buying it already. it looks kinda cheesy and idk if i'd get used to the look of it

i actually thought of letting a shop do it but the places i went said it couldn't be done
post pics of yours

You may want to wear some cloth tape around your fingers (with pulling the thread tight can really rip into your fingers/hands).

But they are GREAT! Durable, real leather, tight fitting. No complaints. I was lucky enough to get a 2-tone pace car steering wheel (otherwise, I would have bought the wheel skin for my Monte).
i heard about the damage they can do to your hands lol :p

I'm not a fan of these. I think they look cheap in every picture I see. Maybe if i seen one in person I would change my mind. Also I dont like how it has holes all the way around. I feel they should have skipped the spots you dont thread.

I think he means not perforating the parts that you don't actually stitch.

I know you stitch the thread in those spots but what I mean is they shouldn't put holes where you don't need to stitch it together. It could just be smooth. I understand why it's not but I'd rather it was.

You could also add the red bow tie:

I like the look and feel and think it was a good investment. They aren't difficult to install. You just need to take your time making sure to keep it aligned properly and pulled tight as you move around the wheel. It takes about an hour to install.

I love mine. Everyone that sees it loves it. My parents' made me buy them one, and my sister wanted one also. Jenna also wants one, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.

They take me a while to put on... roughly 1.5 hours? But I'm a perfectionist with things like that.

You have the picture of mine already, it's also one of the stock photos on PFYC.com
