Remote Positive Terminal

Default Remote Positive Terminal

Is it possible to use the power wire from my amp and run it to the Remote Positive terminal (Beside the fuse box under the hood) and the amp work? Or will something blow up?

Yes you can but I wouldn't recommend it. The Best connection for you amp is directly to the positive terminal on the battery

What year car? If you have a 5th gen- look at how small the wire is connecting the positive to the remote terminal- and IIRC that's already feeding other stuff. So IMO you're better off just getting an aftermarket GM sidepost adapter and connecting your amp properly to the battery directly.

Not adviseable. Reason being is you might as well run the same tiny gauge wire that is run from that terminal to the battery cause that's all the current you'll be able to carry across your amp power wire.

Why are you wanting to do that? That remote terminal is just a couple feet from the battery itself.
