Recommended 6x9s?
It's gonna make a very noticeable difference and not in a good way. If you got 1ohm speakers it's very likely that you will cause some damage to the amp or send it into protect mode due to low impedance. If you get 4 ohm speakers then you'll lose volume due to impedance being too high. It'll still have the sound quality but you'll have to turn the volume **** up higher to get the same volume as you did before.
Just stick with 2 ohm speakers. try to find some with a sensitivity rating of 90db or better.....the higher the better in this case.

The point i'm trying to make is that you're gonna get a different answer from different people, no matter what. Nobody hears things exactly the same, what sounds good to one person might sound like crap to another. It also depends on what they've been exposed to. The guy who has only heard Kicker, Sony and Alpine is gonna have a different opinion than the guy who's heard those, as well as Hertz, Focal and Rainbow.
There is no "best", it's all subjective. You can listen to a pair of Focal speakers on a car that is deadened nicely, has an expensive sound processor and is tuned to the tee and be blown away. You can take those same exact speakers, put them in a different car and they can sound like garbage. All depends on the install, the tuning, the acoustics of the car, the power they're getting and how you're running them.
We're already given you the best advice we can, take your favorite cd and go listen to as many different one's as you can.
