rear speakers bad performance..?
so one of my stock rear 6x9's was blown so i went out and got a set of sony XS GT6935A. it was a pain in the *** to replace and the end result was very dissappointing.
the rear doesnt sound like its as loud as it should be, almost zero bass coming out at full volume. the front stock however are awesome still.
i want 2 know why the rear arent working properly. is there a fuse for the amp or something that i blew? they play sound but not very well.
the sony's are band spankin new.
any idea? thanks

you need more power. the stock spkrs. are very efficent at the power supplied. you need to at least 60 watts or more per channel to wake them new spkrs up. I replaced mine with infinity kappa's and almost took them back out. got a 100 watt per channel amp and they kick a$$ now. then of course I had to get new door spkrs and another amp. if I was smart I would have done a 4 channel amp in the first place. I know those are good spkrs you have now just amp them and they will come alive.
