Rattling...
#11
If anything, I will pad the license plates first like you said jaws just to see if thats where all my rattling is coming from but I doubt it if its coming from there alone. I do have 1 inch and a half packin foam (from a shippment at the job, a white board that was cased in foam for protection). I was thinking to outline the lincense plate cover with that and drill the plates back to the bumper to see if it will lessin the rattle. As far as the inside of the car, nothing else rattles, its only coming from the front. I will provide pics by tomorrow to give an outline of what I wanted to do.

Honestly, the more you get into subs (ie bigger/more power)- the worse it gets (plus it seems like the longer you have them/use them too). I started off with sound deadening the trunk alone when I had a pair of 10"s on a 300 watt amp. After upgrading again and again- my interior was rattling like crazy. I took out a lot of the trim screws and bolts, put thin foam stripping in between parts (like the C pillar plastic trim to the metal C pillars)- and put rubber washers under many of the screws between parts. Also did some foam strips behind the dash and such.
That was ok- but I never could totally get rid of rattles.

Alright guys, I've done did it. I put the styrofoam (cut it out as the shape of my plates) in back on my plates and that alone reduced the rattlin by 60 - 70%. Now I have to pad the part of the trunk where it meets with the bumper when closed. That is rattlin now, but not as loud as the license plates was!
Thanks for the insight jaws!!!
