Default Question about sub volume...

Whats up people, I have a Soundstorm amp and 2 12s. Thing is when I turn the volume up to around 30 on the head unit the bass seems to get lower. What can be causing this?

the subs have probably hit there peak and are distorting causing bad sound and lower bass and sound because they are producing sound that they cant produce, hence your result

not only do subs distort, they can be damaged. at that point is where the can and most likely will be caused. try testing out some bigger subs if they arnt working for ya. what kind are they?

wat you should do is set the bass on your headunit "cd player" to 0 thus letting you hear the true bass and takin some pressure off your other speakers.
