Default problem with foglamps

well i found my first problem with the monte, i went to test my foglamps and they don't work. i checked the bulbs and fuses and they are all fine, im thinking its the actual switch on the dash because it doesnt seem to even engage it just pushes in but never engages. has any one else ever had this problem?

I've never head of such but I'm trying to install foglights myself and I hope this doesn't happen to me. Could someone please tell me the dimensions of the OEM fog lights? I have a 2003 Monte and was looking to buy aftermarket fog lamps but I don't know what size would fit perfectly. If someone could direct me to the aftermarket fog lamps they bought they would be great to. Thanks.

The foglight switch doesn't really "engage" or click into an "on" position. You press it and it returns to its original position, with a small light on the button itself indicating the fog lights are on. I suppose the switch could still be bad, though.
