6th Gen ('00-'05): Powerseat Manual Override
Did your airbag light come on? I gutted out my passenger seat so that I could remove it without that annoying little light coming on.
Well to answer your questions lol:
What - I want embroidery for my new seats to say SS in red, same style as the side of the car just a larger font with maybe a white borderline around the lettering.
Where - Just on the two front seat headrests, thought if I did all four it would be overkill
How - As far as I know, they need to make a digital version of the SS style lettering and use that as a template, then its all stitching from there.
Who - Well in my area (which is in Canada, Ontario, Oshawa) there is an auto upholstery shop where they do custom interiors. They are also official retailers of katskinz (but I wasn't going to pay $1600 for that :p) so they told me $80 for both headrests, not bad right.
When - Hmmm, I was debating on whether i should just pay $15 on amazon and get those sticker looking ones or just pay the $80 and get it done professionally. The problem is I can't get it done till mid july since the shop is booked up till then. So hopefully sooner than that but i will keep you posted

Wow, what an effort you had to put into removing the old seats. I was amazed as to how rusty the seats hardware was. Did you leave the windows down and it rained at times? But heh, the new seats look great and was really worth all the effort....NICELY DONE!!
but I had to set up a light fixture (my iphone flashlight wasn't enough) but then that attracted mosquitoes and other strange insects and by 1:30am my arms and legs looked like bubble wrap. But anyway as you said it was definatly worth the effort. thanksThread
