Default Powerseat Manual Override

Hey guys so I just bought a set of leather ebony seats for my monte (pics soon to come), problem is my cloth seats won't move forward so I have no access to the bolts under the track. Is there anyway to manually make the seat move forward? Thanks!

I think I ended up taking the seats off of the track. You will need to be a contortionist to do it, but I'm 6'2 and managed it

Is there any info for a solution to this problem? My passenger seat doesn't slide all the way backward; it's like the motor has died. But it still slides up and down and everything else... Is there something blocking it perhaps? Needs a cleaning?

Maybe you both could try to power the motor directly.

Dub Does it go forwards, I would pull the seat out and clean and lube the tracks. It could be all gummed up with dirt and grime.

It took me 8 and half hours but I managed to get em out. I didn't really care too much about what condition my old seats would end up in. I assumed the motors that spin those two long screws were all gummed up, so once I managed to remove the top half of the seat by unclipping the clips holding it down then removing the four bolts attaching it to the foundation and unfastening the wires. I had to use a vicegrip and turn the screws mm by mm lol. Once you get those moving it will SLOWLY move the foundation along the track, but believe me time and patience are definitely needed to complete this. I am actually embarrassed to post these pics lol the seats were in such bad shape, but hey now I got leather so I happy.

A friend of mine said taking the power wires on the motor and touching them to a drill battery should actually turn it.
