possible design flaw? or warping?

Mr. Monte - My monte suffers from that same problem. I bought it that way and I guess it doesnt really bother me unless I start looking at it. I really would like to figure out how to fix it. Maybe a project for the both of us? haha

Same, the trim under my windshield seems to be warping as well. I'll see if I can get a pic of it later

Hmm ive nvr seen that before kinda odd that they would do that but easy to replace unlike the ones on a cavalier lol

unfortunately yeah :/ ive seen that warping in a few montes. my current one is warping there a very little bit but its not too bad yet. they dash top also warps at the front middle kind of right above the radio at the one corner. that drives me nuts too. and also the seat belt flapping is common but that one doesn't bother me much haha

Cure for seat belt flapping


Chibi has it right - like I told my son when I gave him the Firebird, if ya want cupholders get a minivan.

seatbelt flaps!!!!


my dash board isnt really warped, just slightly misshapen. it was like that when i bought it. i already knew that montes did that cuz i had looked at a few. compared to the others i looked at, mine AND yours arent bad at all.

i aint got any gaps on my doors, but the pannels to squeak alot if you put any pressure on them. post a pic of it so we can all know what to watch out for

I have those lil gaps too in my doors. my license plate filler screws always get lost in them lol my dash is starting to do it too a lil bit...drives me crazy anytime I think about it
