Default PIE GM12-AUX - Convert CD Changer to Aux Inputs

Has anyone installed this unit?

What are your thoughts. I read someone where it requires an electrical ground, is that true? Crutchfield does not mention anything like that.

Thanks.

Default RE: PIE GM12-AUX - Convert CD Changer to Aux Inputs

if your just looking for the inputs i just bought one today here in germany from the eletronics store and it is almos tthe same thing more then likly is the same thing with out the G.M. plugs cost me 25.00 euro (about 35.00 Us) i bet you could find it there in the states cheapper.
and it will give you the rca jacks. mine just hooks in to the stereo spoeaker wires. not a big deal. then you plug in your amp and go.
If your looking for a changer you can go that route or get a cd changer that gose off of a certin channel in your car and you can get them cheapper for a Name brand then what the one from G.M. is and they are Jensen (just like the amps we have in them from G.M.)

if i were to add a changer to mine this is all i would do is order one the transmits to a F.M. freq. they will give you a clean sound and work just as good or better then the other and mos tof the time you get better options then the stock unit.
Good luck let us know what ya find out.
