PIE GM12-AUX and a 2002 Monte Carlo
Hello. I am new here and this is my first post. I hope you can help me with this. I have a 2002 Monte Carlo LS. It has the 200 watt stereo with CD/TAPE/AM/FM and RDS. One button for BAND and one for CD/TAPE. No AUX button. I do not have XM. I recently purchased a Sirius radio. I am using it with the FM modulator. I want to ad RCA inputs. Does any one know if the PIEGM12-AUX will work with this stereo? There ad says the radio needs to be either XM or CD Changer compatible but how do you know if the stereo has these compatibilities? Are all Monte's of this age compatible? Will I loose the car functions controlled by the stereo (Oil life/tire monitor? ect..). Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
