Yeah, you'll need an adapter to keep your steering wheel controls.
If you do look for an aftermarket head unit, look at brands like Pioneer, Eclipse, Kenwood, Alpine, or other respected brands. Look at all of the options in your price range and compare the features they each offer, then pick whichever one matches your needs the best.
