Also what happens when the OIL change light comes on, or the air pressure light. how would that be cleared?

HI `James, I was going to be a smarta$$ by posting
you would loose your `tunes `if you took out your Stock radio : )
The tech's doing the install should be able to advise you
`if they are trained & experienced.
2nd Post: Is your oil light/pressure lights coming on now,
before you've done any installs ? I'm confused by your post.
Please give more details `ok
To reset your Computer you need to do the below
[:-]
You will need an OBD2 scan tool to reset the computer.
Some auto parts stores will do this for you.

The OBDII(TECH 2) is only needed when some major engine work has been done. You can reset the trouble codes by disconnecting the negative battery cable for about 2.5-3 hours and letting the car sit. However the trouble codes will probably return unless you correct the problem. Also tighten your gas cap(yes, it sets an emision code) before removing the battery cable. Keep in mind that your car is equiped with a learning computer and may need a couple of days of driving to adjust the engine parameters .
Good Luck `James, from `Space

no, its not on now. But it comes on when you need an OIL change, and you use the stock radio to reset it.

Wasent sure if it would stay on if it comes on when I put a new radio in.

Hi `James,
I don't know the answer,[X(] but hopefully one of our
expert tech member's will read your post & have an answer.
Several members have installed new radio's, and
I'm sure that they will assist.
What type of radio are you installing ? Are you upgrading
your speakers/amp ?
Good Tunes 2 U,

With the ignition switch on, but the motor not running, for the oil life reset, pump the gas pedal fully 3x's slowly within 5 seconds, and turn off the key.

For the tire pressure, with the ingntion switch to the on position also, pull the light switch to the parking light position on and off 3x's within 5 seconds, and turn off the key.

you will lose the chimes, the option of going threw the radio for resetting stuff like the oil life monitor and the low tire presure and also the radio going up and down with speed controll instead of it it will be on one level all the time. I never used this feture anyway so it was no big loss ot me . as for the rest i have always set the oil life by pumping the peddel.

the other thing that you will lose is if you have steerign wheel controlls you will lose those UNLESS you buy the interface then they will do fine.

mine has been in my car with out one for 3 of thealmost 5 i have owned the car. and never noticed it to much it is nice ot have it on the wheel but i still dont use it there LOL

But if you get the interface it will give you the steering wheel controlls and also a anoying chime back so tha tyou will have it when you need one.
and i have yet to find a volume on it but mine is WAY to Loud for my likling.
